Data Strategy & Analytics


The Big Data Analytics  course was developed to spur new inputs for reflection starting from the analysis of large quantities of data, attributing to the evidence that emerges a crucial weight as for its impact on the management’s choices.

The course aims at developing a critical approach to data and at providing the necessary skills to manage them.

An overview will be provided on the collection architectures and technologies, on data storage and analysis. The course offers companies more awareness of the information it already has, or that it may acquire, and the way to use it correctly for the business.

Completing this experience means changing the way you relate to big data, learning to ask yourself the right questions. This vision is essential for those who wish to be able to speak the same language of technical figures, defining an important role in the context of a growing scenario.

The Big Data Analytics course consists of 12 days, for a total of 6 weekends (Fridays and Saturdays), during which these topics will be analyzed in depth: Big Data Analytics tools and Business Intelligence, Semantic Intelligence and Machine Learning.

The lectures alternate periods of teaching and discussions among participants, when to share solutions to companies’ real issues.

The registration fee for the entire program is € 4,600 (plus VAT) to be paid before the start date of the course.

The fee includes attendance in the program, all the study material available through the online platform and access to Bologna Business School services, which include a personal account for the Alma wi-fi, use of the pcs in the Computer Lab, access to the study areas, and access to the indoor gym. There is ample free parking in the School’s park.

The course is restricted to a maximum of 25 participants with at least 2 years of work experience.

At the end of the course, a participation certificate is issued (upon reaching 80% of classroom hours).
The documents used in the classroom and any further reading or exercises will be uploaded to our platform, whose credentials will be delivered in the classroom.
Should a group of colleagues wish to participate in the program, it is possible to contact the Program Manager to evaluate an ad hoc participation price.
Our short courses do not require a specific course of study. It is important to have a few years of work experience behind you that can help you, inside the classroom, by bringing real cases dealt with and solutions adopted during your work.
