Banking in the Digital Era: Innovations and Finance

Participating in the Program offers the opportunity to: get up-to-date on the latest trends and developments in the banking industry; expand one’s knowledge by developing practical and strategical skills; connect with leaders in the industry; and improve one’s decision making skills to innovate and lead one’s banking institution to success.

The course is designed for professionals who have about 3 years of experience within banking/financial institutions (located in Europe, including Italy) and individuals, who want to pursue a path of information, training and updating in the field of digital transformation and emerging innovations within the banking sector.

The program is structured in 6 Thematic Modules, for a total of 20 didactic sessions to be attended online, plus a final full-time in-person day dedicated to the discussion of a Project Work.

The course will allow to achieve the following training objectives:

  • Provide an in-depth understanding of the new developments related to the rise of digitization in the banking sector;
  • Deepen the impact of digital transformation and identify strategies to successfully embrace this transformation, including understanding its importance from the perspective of competitiveness and sustainability in the industry;
  • Explore emerging technologies and how they are changing the way banks operate and deliver services to customers;
  • Analyze the challenges and opportunities related to risk management in digital banking, exploring key regulations and examining the adoption of sustainable practices through tools and metrics to assess ESG risk in the lending process.

Structure

The course lasts six months and consists of 20 teaching sessions to be attended online on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

In addition to the online classes, there is a final in-person day involving the development of a Project Work.

Learning approach

The teaching approach will be highly pragmatic and accompanied by numerous applied cases. The teaching methodology will be supported by an e-learning platform where materials and exercises will be uploaded for study and further study between the two classroom sessions.

FEES

The registration fee for registrations from companies and institutions is 4,000 euros (plus VAT) to be paid by the start date of the course.

The registration fee for individual registrations is 3,200 euros (plus VAT) to be paid by the start date of the course.

The fee includes attendance at the program, all study material available through the online platform and access to Bologna Business School services, which include: Alma personal wi-fi account, use of study areas and access to the internal gym.

FAQs

At the end of the course, a participation certificate is issued (upon reaching 80% of classroom hours).

The documents used in the classroom and any further reading or exercises will be uploaded to our platform, whose credentials will be delivered in the classroom.

Should a group of colleagues wish to participate in the program, it is possible to contact the Program Manager to evaluate an ad hoc participation price.

Our short courses do not require a specific course of study. It is important to have a few years of work experience behind you that can help you, inside the classroom, by bringing real cases dealt with and solutions adopted during your work.
