A GUIDE FOR UNCERTAINTY

Uncertainty on the markets and the pressure to get results, the growing impact of technology and of new ways of working, the difficulty to motivate and to make people with different backgrounds, culture and age cooperate, force us to reflect on what it means today to use one’s leadership  in an organization or even whether it’s still possible to play the role of the leader.

In reality, it’s precisely in difficult situations that leadership becomes essential, it’s when there are no safe answers that one can make the difference with people by being an example, setting up a shared meaning and identifying ambitious challenges. Clearly, when complexity increases nothing can be left to chance: we need to have a clear idea of “how people work”, starting from ourselves and our leading style, training the relevant skills for a leader, to improve team work and innovation at the workplace.

The course, with a mix of assessmentse-learning activities, classroom lectures, exercisesproject work, and coaching is designed to foster testing the acquired concepts; indeed practice supports learning and it guarantees having an impact on one’s people.

The course is intended for those professionals who manage people or for those who are about to start in such a position and it includes three modules (one basic and two advanced): leadership  fundamentals, from awareness to action, experiencing the future. The course ends with a project work and a day of presentations to share experiences among participants.

The course, thanks to the varied mix of teaching methods, is therefore suitable for those who wish to analyze more in depth the leadership concepts, using the most modern and cutting-hedge contributions, and also for those wishing to find a support in the practical implementation.

Structure

The programm can be followed on campus or online.

The course lasts 3 months and includes a mix of assessment, e-learning, classroom, exercises, project work, coaching.

Self-reflection – defining the personal target and filling in of individual assessment

Leading a team to innovation, dealing with and solving problems is one of the tasks of today’s leader. By integrating different disciplines, it’s possible to create a complete toolset to improve collaboration.

Learning approach

The course lasts 6 months and includes a mix of assessment, e-learning, classroom, exercises, project work, coaching.

FEES

The registration fee for enrollments from companies and institutions is 4.600 euros (plus VAT) to be paid by the start date of the course.

The registration fee for individual enrollments is 3.700 euros (plus VAT) to be paid by the start date of the course.

The fee includes attendance at the program, all study material available through the online platform and access to Bologna Business School services, which include: Alma personal wi-fi account, use of Computer Lab PCs, use of study areas and access to the internal gym.

A large free car park is available in the school park.

Discounts are available:

REQUIREMENTS

The course is reserved for a maximum of 25 participants.

APPLICATION PROCESS

To register, simply download the registration form and send it by email or fax.

FAQs

At the end of the course, a participation certificate is issued (upon reaching 80% of classroom hours).

The documents used in the classroom and any further reading or exercises will be uploaded to our platform, whose credentials will be delivered in the classroom.

Should a group of colleagues wish to participate in the program, it is possible to contact the Program Manager to evaluate an ad hoc participation price.

Our short courses do not require a specific course of study. It is important to have a few years of work experience behind you that can help you, inside the classroom, by bringing real cases dealt with and solutions adopted during your work.
