Sustainability and circular economy are becoming fundamental pillars of the modern economic systems and they represent a development alternative to meet the global challenge of the depletion of natural resources.
In order to operate effectively in this new economic context, public and private businesses need to adopt new management tools able to generate and control, simultaneously, the economic, social and environmental value, in a framework shared by enterprises and the civil society.
Those who choose this course intend to increase their skills, also through exchanges of views with university lecturers, managers and management consultants from this industry: the most significant experiences, for different types of business, will be discussed.
The program features a half day as introduction and 3 full-time classroom days, which will enable participants to acquire the abilities and tools to manage the financial management Triple bottom line and risks at social and, most of all, environmental levels.
These tools aim at achieving a business performance in line with the needs of enhancement of resources and of the founding requirements of the Circular Economy.
The educational experience allows providing an answer to the need of combining Business Development and Sustainable Innovation processes, thanks to individual and group interactive activities that foster the critical analysis of problems and the identification of solutions applicable to the reference context.

" The urgency concerning the depletion of natural resources, the significance for the business and growing economic-financial returns are some of the motivations that, every day, push an increasing number of entrepreneurs and professionals to familiarize themselves and adopt the principles of sustainability, of the creation of shared value and of the circular economy. This course will give participants an innovative business view by way of an in-depth analysis of rigorous theoretical frameworks and the implementation of measurement, assessment and accounting techniques and methods, that combine economic, environmental and social payoffs, for the company performances. "
The course features a program divided into a introductory Kick Off and 3 full-time classroom days (Thursday, Friday and Saturday).

During the residentials different thematic modules are dealt with, delivered by way of a mix of traditional lectures, experiences illustrated by business-people, exercises and discussion of real-life cases.
The course lasts 6 months and includes a mix of assessment, e-learning, classroom, exercises, project work, coaching.

The registration fee for registrations from companies and institutions is 2.300 euros (plus VAT) to be paid by the start date of the course.
The registration fee for individual registrations is 1.800 euros (plus VAT) to be paid by the start date of the course.
The fee includes attendance at the program, all study material available through the online platform and access to Bologna Business School services, which include: Alma personal wi-fi account, use of Computer Lab PCs, use of study areas and access to the internal gym.

Our short courses do not require a specific course of study. It is important to have a few years of work experience behind you that can help you, inside the classroom, by bringing real cases dealt with and solutions adopted during your work.
