Innovation Talks. Cathy Huyghe

April 4, 2019 – Bologna Business School – Via degli Scalini 18 – Bologna

The fourth Innovation Talk of the Spring Edition 2019 will host Cathy Huyghe, Co-founder of Enolytics,  journalist and Wine Writer for Forbes and Inc. During the speech The Sexiest Job of the 21st Century? Big Data, and What It Means for Wine, Cathy Huyghe will share with the BBS Community the opportunities generated by big data in the wine industry. The event is organized in collaboration with Philip Morris Italia.

Cathy Huyghe’s experience brings a new vision about the exploitation of big data in wine marketing. Enolytics works with the data that the wineries already possess, making the information held in them more accessible and useful for creating strategic and operational opportunities. Furthermore, Enolytics collaborates with third-party sources in order to extract consumer data, to obtain detailed information about a particular product or customer’s need.

Cathy Huyghe is the co-founder and CEO of Enolytics and the author of the award-winning book Hungry for Wine: Seeing the World through the Lens of a Wine Glass. She is a wine columnist for Forbes and Inc, focusing on business and entrepreneurship within the industry. She enjoys teaching appointments in wine business programs around the world, and mentoring the students and young professionals she meets. Huyghe is also the founder of Harvard Alumni in Wine and Food.

The event, dedicated to BBS Community, will be held in English and Italian language with simultaneous translation.
