GRADUATION

On Friday, September 10, at 5:30 p.m.(CEST), the institution’s most important event of the year, for the Bologna Business School Community, returned: Graduation Master Class 2020 and 2021, a solemn moment that marks the academic success of the School’s graduating students.

The Graduation was held in Piazza Maggiore, in the historical heart of the city of Bologna, where more than 1500 students of BBS University Masters and Executive Masters were gathered, having awaited this moment after completing their studies in 2020 and 2021.

HONORIS CAUSA DEGREE

On the occasion of the Graduation, the University of Bologna awarded the Honoris Causa Degree in Business Administration to Eric Schmidt, Former Chairman and CEO of Google, technologist, entrepreneur and philanthropist, for having led the innovation of hardware and software infrastructures necessary to face the challenges of digitization on a global scale.

The Degree was conferred by the Rector of the University of Bologna Francesco Ubertini.

The Graduation ceremony and the Honoris Causa Degree were celebrated in the presence of the Dean of BBS Massimo Bergami, the President of the BBS Collegio di Indirizzo Romano Prodi and the Director of the Department of Business Sciences Angelo Paletta.

In order to celebrate and honor the graduates in person and in compliance with current anti-Covid safety regulations, access to the event was restricted to invited guests only, specifically graduates, faculty, and guests.

BBS invites the entire community to follow the celebration which was streamed on the BBS website at this link.

 

As you are probably aware, the Green Pass requirement is becoming more widespread for participation in various activities involving socialising. We would inform you in advance that BBS, according to the regulations currently in effect, will be required to verify possession of the Green Pass in order to access the events of September 10, 11 and 12.
We would like to point out that participation in the Events is a strictly personal and individual choice and that the delivery of diplomas is guaranteed even in the case of non-participation in the Events. In the case that the Events organised by BBS are postponed or cancelled for any reason or cause, BBS shall in no event be liable for any costs incurred or damages suffered by the participants in the Events as a result of the postponement or cancellation of the Events.
Please note that participation in Events presupposes that you have read, understood and accepted the Covid-19 Protocol which can be found at the following link. Please check the link periodically as the Covid-19 Protocol may be subject to change. Within the spaces that will host the event, the Protocol adopted by Formal Internal Disposition of the BBS and made public on the dedicated page of the BBS shall be considered valid, not later than 24:00 on 8 September 2021.
