Piero Gnudi graduated in Economics from University of Bologna.
He is the Founder of Studio Gnudi.

He held the position of Minister of Regional Affairs, Sports and Tourism in Prime Minister Mario Monti’s government.

He was Board Chairman of IRI S.p.A., Board Chairman of ENEL S.p.A., TERNA S.p.A., WIND S.p.A., RAI Holding S.p.A., Locat S.p.A., Astaldi S.p.A., MIRBIS Moscow International Business School and OME Observatoire Méditerranée de l’Energie Paris, Vice President of BAnca del Monte di Bologna e Ravenna, Credito Romagnolo, Unicredit Corporate, he was Member of the Board  of Directors and Statutory auditor to several Companies including ENI, Credito Italiano, STET, Merloni, Ferre’, Alfa Wassermann, Unicredit, IL Sole 24 Ore.

He was Extraordinary Commissioner of Gruppo Fochi and Extraordinary Commissioner of ILVA S.p.A.
He was Member of the Executive Council of Confindustria.
