The Master in Digital Marketing and Communication was instrumental in my preparation as a Marketing Automation Specialist. The direct interaction with industry instructors was particularly valuable, especially for gaining insights into the tools and approaches I now use in my work. A particularly significant moment was meeting professionals who developed one of the leading Italian Marketing Automation platforms, Magnews, which allowed me to acquire advanced skills in this area. Additionally, Bologna Business School provided the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues who share similar professional interests and ambitions. The school’s ability to bring together diverse individuals into a cohesive group has been a valuable resource for my professional development, offering a space for mutual support and exchange that instilled confidence and awareness for future choices.
What challenges do you face daily in your role as a Marketing Automation Specialist, and how do you apply the knowledge acquired during the Master’s program to tackle them?
In my role as Marketing Automation Specialist at Eurospin, I face complex challenges daily that require strong analytical skills and effective teamwork to achieve common goals. Thanks to the Master’s, I was able to strengthen skills in key areas such as customer segmentation, user behavior tracking, budget management, and compliance with privacy regulations. These aspects are central to my day-to-day tasks, and having a solid grounding in each has enabled me to tackle these challenges with greater confidence.
The digital marketing sector is in constant evolution. How has the Master’s program helped you develop an adaptive and innovation-oriented mindset, valuable in such a dynamic environment?
Change can be difficult, but ignoring it can be lethal. Digital marketing demands a high degree of adaptability. The Master’s at BBS, through the analysis of real business cases and interactions with professionals experiencing this transformation daily, not only inspired me personally but also equipped me with the skills needed to confront these challenges.
Looking to the future, what professional goals do you have, and how do you think your educational path and current experience will help you achieve them?
My goal is to contribute to the growth of companies in my country, helping them interpret and adapt to the changes driven by society and, consequently, by people’s behavior. I aspire to promote a deeper connection between businesses and communities, developing strategies based on empathetic communication and a detailed analysis of behaviors. I believe that an approach oriented toward innovation and social responsibility can create a significant impact, bringing value to both companies and the communities in which they operate.

My current work experience allows me to apply these skills concretely, enabling me to translate theory into real actions.
