Alberto Vacchi (1)

ALBERTO VACCHI
He is president of Confindustria Emilia Area Centro: the companies of Bologna, Modena and Ferrara. Graduated in Law, he started working in the family company IMA (Industria Macchine Automatiche) becoming CEO in 1996 and leading the Group towards a strong international growth. IMA is today the world leader in the design and production of automatic machines for the processing and packaging of pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, food, tea and coffee.

ANDREA FALLENI
He began his professional experience in banking IT in 1988 with his entry into Cassa di Risparmio di Bologna. In May 2000 he joined BST, which became part of the AIVE Group in 2003, where Falleni held the role of Head of Development of the commercial offer. In 2011, AIVE BST became part of Capgemini, where Falleni held the role of Leader in the Financial Services Market since 2013 and, after being appointed as COO, in 2016 he became CEO of Capgemini Italia.

ANDREA PONTREMOLI
He joined IBM in 1980 and after several career advancements in 2004 he was appointed President and CEO of IBM Italy. In 2007 he joined Dallara Automobili as Chief Executive Officer and General Manager. Since November 2007, he is Director of BBS’s “Executive Master in Technology and Innovation Management”. In 2005 he received the honor of Cavaliere di Gran Croce Order of Merit of the Italian Republic.

ANDRECO
He is a PhD in Green Technologies for Urban Sustainability and has conducted postdoctoral research on the environmental benefits of urban green technologies in collaboration with the University of Bologna and the Columbia University of New York. Since 2000, in parallel with his scientific training, he has continued his artistic research whose main theme is the relationship between urban space and natural landscape and between man and the environment in all its forms.

CLAUDIO ZANARDO
Graduated in Mechanical Engineering, he joined Pirelli in September 2015 taking over responsibility for the Marketing and Retail functions in the Europe region, after having gained a decade of experience in Operations and Sales at Ducati Motor Holding. In 2016 he became CEO of Driver, the Pirelli retail chain. In November 2017 he has been appointed CEO of Pirelli Italy.

DONATELLA ISAIA
She joined Vodafone in 2006 and from 2007 to 2008 participated in the company’s start-up in Qatar. In 2008 she was appointed HR Director of TeleTu in Italy, while in 2011 she joined the Group’s HR management in London. Se is Director of HR & Organization of Vodafone Italy and member of the Executive Committee since 2015. Before joining the Group, she was responsible for recruiting and HR business partnering for the organizational committee of the Turin Winter Olympics.

EUGENIO SIDOLI
In 1993 he joined Philip Morris International as a Brand Manager working in the Operational Center based in Lausanne.After various positions of responsibility within the group, in 2003 he became Managing Director of Philip Morris Serbia, from May 2007 he assumed the position of Managing Director of Philip Morris Spain and in 2010 became President and Managing Director of Philip Morris Italy.

FRANCESCA GINO
Professor of business administration in the Negotiation, Organizations & Markets Unit at Harvard Business School. Her research focuses on judgment and decision-making, negotiation, ethics, motivation, productivity, and creativity. Her studies have been featured in The Economist, The New York Times, Newsweek, Scientific American, Psychology Today, and The Wall Street Journal. In 2018 she published the best seller Rebel Talents.

FRANCESCA VECCHIONI
Graduated in Political Science, civil rights activist, communication expert and journalist. A convinced supporter of diversity seen as an advantage, in 2013 she founded the association Diversity (diversitylab.it), committed to diversity and inclusion, of which she is President. Her contributions have appeared among other media on “The 27th hour” of the “Corriere della Sera” and in the volume Le cose cambiano (2013, Isbn Edizioni).

FRANCESCO UBERTINI
He graduated in Civil Engineering at the University of Bologna, where he also obtained the title of Research Doctor in Structural Mechanics. Since 2007 he has been Professor of Construction Science at the School of Engineering and Architecture of the Alma Mater Studiorum. He is the Rector of the Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna from November 2015, and is the youngest rector in Italy.

GABRIELE MORANDIN
He is Associate Professor of Organization Design at the University of Bologna. He is also Director of the Master’s in HR & Organization at BBS. From 2004 to 2006 he was Visiting Scholar and Research Assistant at the Ross School of Business of the University of Michigan (MI, USA). In 2015 he obtained the Certification for the “360-degree Assessments” from the Center for Creative Leadership in New York.

GABRIELLA CRAFA
For Focus Management she leads the digital area, leading strategic projects of go to market and six years ago she founded Asap Online, a digital publishing company among others of TvSerial.it and Autoaspillo.com. She was a Senior Digital Project Manager at MSC Cruises, for which she launched the first World Wide Intranet. To this she associates a great passion for civil rights: she is Vice President of Diversity, an association committed against all forms of discrimination.

MARIO NANNI
President and Founder of Viabizzuno, one of the most important Italian lighting design and implementation companies. For 40 years Nanni uses his experience in the field of light and his professional craftsmanship to experiment, design and accompany internationally renowned designers in their work and compose their own, personal, design poetics. Among his projects are Palazzo della Mercanzia, Piazza della Signoria (Florence 2011) and La luce della musica (Teatro alla Scala, Milan 2009).

MASSIMO BERGAMI
He is Professor of Business Organization at the University of Bologna and Dean of BBS. He is Guest Professor at Nankai University (Tianjin) and Mirbis (Moscow), Member of the Board of Trustees of EFMD, Founding Chair of the Emba Consortium for Global Business Innovation, Independent Counselor of Brunello Cucinelli Spa, Member of the Board of Ferrarelle spa and Member of the Committee for Natural Capital at the Ministry of the Environment. He has served as an independent counselor in Ducati M.H., Ferretti SpA, Telecom Italia Media and as Advisor of the Italian Government.

MATTEO MURA
He is Associate Professor Performance Management at the Department of Business Sciences of the University of Bologna. He is a Visiting Professor at the Cranfield School of Management. He carries out research and consultancy on performance management and strategy implementation, knowledge sharing, sustainability, analysis and management of company stakeholders. He teaches Economics and Business Organization at the University of Bologna and holds courses in Operations Management and Business Analytics at the Cranfield School of Management and the Warwick Business School.

MAURIZIO GABBRIELLI
He is a full professor of Computer Science at the University of Bologna. PhD in Computer Science, he is a member of the INRIA FOCUS research team and director of the Master in Digital Technology Management at the Bologna Business School. He is the author of more than 100 scientific publications in the field of programming languages and artificial intelligence and from 2015 to 2017 he was Director of the EIT Digital European Doctoral School focused on technological innovation.

MAURIZIO SOBRERO
He is Professor of Innovation Management at the University of Bologna and a member of the Production and Operation Management Society. From 2000 to 2007 he was Coordinator of the PhD program Business Administration at the University. He has published 5 books and over 20 international articles on economics and innovation management. In 2005 he was invited to contribute to the United Nations World Investment Report.

PATRIZIA CIANETTI
Graduated in Bologna in Computer Engineering, she began her professional career at the IBM EMEA in Paris. In 2000 she became General Manager of Ducati.com, a satellite company of Ducati dedicated to motorcycle accessories and clothing. In 2006 she joined Ducati Motor Holding, where in 2014 she became the Marketing Director of the company.

PIER LUIGI CELLI
He is an entrepreneur, company manager, essayist and writer. He was general manager of the LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome and RAI. Since 2014 he has been Senior Advisor of the CEO of Poste Italiane and is a member of the Board of Directors of La Perla and Illy. His latest novel is Notturni inquieti. L’insonnia della ragione genera manager (2017, Aliberti Compagnia Editoriale).

RICCARDO SILVI
He is Professor at the University of Bologna where he teaches Performance Measurement Systems, Cost Management and Business Performance Analytics. His main research interests include management control, strategic cost management, performance management and business modeling, on which he has several publications including: European Accounting Review, International Journal of Productivity and Performance Management, Cost Management, and others.

ROSA GRIMALDI
She is Full Professor of Economic and Management Engineering at the University of Bologna and since 2008 she is the scientific director of the Executive Master in Technology and Innovation Management at BBS. Her scientific production focuses on the themes of collaborations between companies aimed at innovation processes, the creation of new businesses, entrepreneurship and technology transfer.

ROMANO PRODI
Politician, economist, professor, public manager and Italian business executive, who held the position of President of the Council of Ministers of the Italian Republic from 1996 to 1998 and from 2006 to 2008. From 1999 to 2004 he was President of the European Commission. Romano Prodi is also president of the Bologna Business School Steering Committee.

TIZIANO TOSCHI
He graduated in mechanical engineering at the Politecnico of Milan and began his career in the motorcycle industry. In 1995 he joined Whirlpool and, after a short period in Candy, he joined the Electrolux group as VP for Product Development in Europe. In 2010 he became Senior VP Global R&D in the company’s largest division.

TONI BELLONI
In 1978 he joined the Procter & Gamble group where he held positions of increasing responsibility in the United States, Greece, Belgium and Switzerland, before being elected in 1999 as President of Procter & Gamble for Europe. He joined LVMH in 2001 with the role of General Manager of the Group as well as Manager of strategic and operational management of the Group companies. He is a member of the board of directors of LVMH and Chairman of the executive committee.

VALERIA ROJAS NASTRUCCI
Graduated in Maintenance Engineering at the Universidad de Carabobo in Valencia, Venezuela, she began her professional career at Empresas Polar, the largest and most famous Venezuelan brewery and a company operating in the food processing and packaging of food for the foreign market. In 2016 she attended the Global MBA in Innovation Management / Mechanics & Automation at BBS. Since 2017 she has held the role of Maintenance Coordinator at Philip Morris International.
