Graduation 2018 & XII Reunion: return to the most important event of the year for the Bologna Business School Community with Toni Belloni, Managing Director of LVMH. The appointment on Friday 6th and Saturday 7th July 2018, dedicated to the Alumni who attended the Masters and to the friends of the School, should be noted on the agenda.
As is the tradition, these two days will start on Friday with the Graduation, during which the Magnificent Rector of the University of Bologna, Francesco Ubertini will be awarding our graduates with their diplomas. This year, more than 500 students have successfully completed a University Master’s degree or an Executive Master at BBS.
Together with the Rector and Tony Belloni will participate to the ceremony also:
After the Graduation, as usual, the Reunion will open with an evening dedicated to celebrating the newly graduated.
At 8.15 pm in the Gardens of Villa Guastavillani there will be a charity dinner organized by the Association Chef to Chef / Emilia Romagna Cuochi, aimed at funding scholarships for students of BBS next year.
To participate to the dinner in the evening there is a minimum donation of € 50 per person *; the collected contributions will be donated to scholarships for the participation in BBS Masters.
After dinner, music and dances.
On Saturday, July 7, the Reunion will proceed with a Managerial Meditation led by Pier Luigi Celli at 8.00 am in the Villa Guastavillani Grotto on the theme “The Season of Appointments“. To the meditation will follow a power breakfast in the Secret Garden.
After breakfast, Francesca Gino will speak on the theme “Rebel Talent“, followed by workshops with guests and Alumni.
Given the success of the previous editions, this year BBS organizes again the Fun Coding Kids Bootcamp, a training experience on digital technologies, dedicated to the children of our Alumni and Faculty members, aged between 7 and 11 years, that will take place on Friday and Saturday morning.
Participate in the Reunion, meet your fellow students, meet new people and consolidate our Community, full of content and opportunities.
“Rebels have a bad reputation. We think of them as troublemakers, outcasts, contrarians: those colleagues, friends, and family members who complicate seemingly straightforward decisions, create chaos, and disagree when everyone else is in agreement. But in truth, rebels are also those among us who change the world for the better with their unconventional outlooks. Instead of clinging to what is safe and familiar, and falling back on routines and tradition, rebels defy the status quo. They are masters of innovation and reinvention, and they have a lot to teach us.”**
Rebellion is an approach to life and work that each of us can choose, to create our own story rather than following a script written by others. Francesca Gino, Professor of Business Administration at Harvard Business School and author of the best-seller Rebel Talents, is convinced of this. During Graduation 2018 she will share with the Community of BBS the result of more than a decade of study on rebels in organizations all around the world. Francesca will also speak during the Graduation to greet those who receive the Master.
In her book, the expert in decision-making processes and leadership identifies 5 rebel talents: originality, curiosity, perspective, diversity and authenticity and 4 Rebel Profiles (Traveler, CLimber, Pirate, Guard). To find out what kind of rebel you are, complete the test designed by Francesca Gino.
* the non-refundable contribution of € 50 per person is to be paid within the closing deadline of online registrations. In case of additional places available, it is possible to participate in the charity dinner by paying directly on site a contribution of € 100 per person.
