HOW TO REACH PIAZZA MAGGIORE FROM CENTRAL STATION
The distance between Bologna Central Station and Piazza Maggiore is 3 km. You can choose to reach the Piazza:
- by walking along Via dell’Indipendenza for 18 minutes
- with the bus line TPer 25, which you can use from the Central Station
- by cab, parked in front of the entrance of the Central Station in Piazzale Medaglie d’Oro
It is not possible to reach Piazza Maggiore by private cars or motorcycles
HOW TO REACH PIAZZA MAGGIORE FROM THE BUS STATION
The distance between the Bologna bus station and Piazza Maggiore is 3 km. You can choose to reach the square:
- by walking along Via dell’Indipendenza for 18 minutes
- with the TPer 27, 11 or A bus lines, which can be used directly from the Central Station
HOW TO REACH PIAZZA MAGGIORE FROM GUGLIELMO MARCONI AIRPORT
- by the ‘Marconi Express’ train to the central station
- by cab, parked in front of the arrivals exit of the airport
