Rosa Grimaldi is Full Professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management at the University of Bologna and since 2008 she has been Scientific Director of the Master Executive in Technology and Innovation Management at the Bologna Business School and since 2015 she has been the Rector’s Delegate for Entrepreneurship and Relations with Businesses. Most of Rosa Grimaldi’s scientific production focuses on the themes of collaborations between companies aimed at innovation processes, the creation of new businesses, entrepreneurship and technology transfer. Since 2007, she has been a member of the Board of Professors of the PhD in Business Management of the Department of Business Sciences (its Department of affiliation), as well as a lecturer, within the same PhD, in the course of Economics and Management of Innovation. She is the author of numerous international publications on Innovation Management, Entrepreneurship, New Business Creation and Internationalization of R&D activities. Graduated in Management Engineering from the Polytechnic of Turin, she obtained a Master in Technology and Innovation Management from the SPRU, Sussex University, UK, a PhD and was a Visiting Scholar at the University of Michigan.
CORE COURSE – The objective of the course is to provide participants with the knowledge and skills that can be useful at the beginning of the entrepreneurship process, during the phase of conceptualizing new business ideas. Focus will be placed on the subjects of recognition of entrepreneurial opportunities, feasibility analysis of a new business idea from the organizational, strategic and economic-financial points of view, concluding with a business plan.Technology and Innovation
