Elena Alberti is an accomplished international executive and the Managing Director and CFO of Penske Automotive Italy, the leading car dealership group in the premium – luxury segment in Italy representing top brands including Audi, BMW, Maserati, Mercedes, Smart, Lamborghini, Porsche, Land Rover, Jaguar and Volvo.
After several years in the USA and Germany, she now oversees the Group’s Italian operations including finance, human resources, group marketing, and M&A and serves as a board member for all companies owned by Penske in Italy. Her executive experience traverses corporate accounting, internal audit, M&A, corporate finance, strategic marketing, business development, people management and general management.
Elena brings a wealth of international experience, living and working abroad with expertise in transatlantic integration. Under her leadership, Penske Automotive Group established its presence in the Italian market in 2012 and is now a leading company in the Italian market with a team of 650 employees across 20 locations and annual revenues of approximately 650 million Euros.
Elena’s leadership and management skills have earned her numerous recognitions, including Forbes Top 100 Women in Italy (2021), Fortune top 50 Most Powerful Women in Italy (2022).
Elena holds a university degree in Economics and Business Administration from University of Modena and she completed a Certificate in Management Excellence from Harvard Business School .
Her main areas of academic interest are Leadership, Corporate Strategy, Negotiation.


The course enables a 360-degree view of the entire marketing strategy, regardless of the different products or divisions, and to convey to the organization’s key target audiences the distinctive features of its offerings compared to those of its competitors, uniquely in its marketing activities. The aim is to allocate its resources across a wide range of platforms and channels to increase sales and gain a sustainable competitive advantage within the corresponding market.
