Maurizio Marchesini, born in 1955, is President of Marchesini Group S.p.A.

From 2009 to 2011, he was President of Unindustria Bologna; from 2011 to 2013, President of the Aldini Valeriani Foundation; from 2012 to 2017, President of Confindustria Emilia-Romagna; from 2015 to 2019, Vice President of SIMEST; from 2018 to 2022, Treasurer of the Emilia-Romagna group of Knights of Labor, and from 2018 to 2022 Prior President of the Marriage Mount.

He is a member of the General Council of Confindustria, Vice-President of Confindustria with responsibility for Supply Chains and Medium Enterprises, a member of the Board of Directors of UCIMA, an advisor of Nomisma, and President of FiD (Fare impresa in Dozza).

Cavaliere del Lavoro, since 2013, since 2022 he has been Vice President of the Emiliano Romagnolo Group and Member Board of Directors of the National Federation.

In October 2019, he received an honorary degree from Alma Mater Studiorum in Automation Engineering.
