Taking Italian Excellence Global #3

22 April 2015

What is the future of business education?
After Ivano Dionigi and Piero Gnudi it’s time to listen to Romano Prodi, Founder and President of the Foundation for World Wide Cooperation, and Former President of the European Commission.

BBS is publishing one video per week in order to share the opinions and thoughts of the fifteen counselors who are supporting the global growth of Bologna Business School.

Romano Prodi has been President of the European Commission from 1999 to 2005, President of the Italian Council between 1996 and 1998 and Minister of the Republic for two terms. His political and institutional commitment has always been the natural evolution of his intense academic activity. After his studies in Law, Romano Prodi has specialized at the London School of Economics, has been a visiting Professor at Harvard University and the Stanford Research Institute. His academic career began at the Faculty of Political Science of the University of Bologna, where he was Professor of Economics and Industrial policy until 1999. He is currently Founder and President of the Foundation for World Wide Cooperation. Since 2008, he chairs the Working Group on the UN-African Union peacekeeping missions in Africa.

Next Wednesday is the turn of Nakiye Boyacigiller, Professor and Former Dean of the Sabanci Business School, Istanbul.
