On January 25, the Campus set the stage for the Reunion of the Alumni of the Executive Master in Technology and Innovation Management (EMTIM). The event was not only an opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces but also turned into a genuine think tank dedicated to discussing the future of technology and innovation.
The day began with welcoming remarks from Professor Rosa Grimaldi, Academic Director of EMTIM, and Professor Laura Toschi, Deputy Director, both of whom emphasized how gatherings like this are essential for strengthening the professional connections that represent one of the core values of the Master’s program.
The program hit its stride with a series of Keynote Speeches that captured everyone’s attention. Particularly noteworthy were the presentations by Alumni who are now managers at top tech companies, sharing concrete experiences on the implementation of Artificial Intelligence and big data analysis within corporate strategies. Their contributions sparked a lively and constructive debate, underscoring just how pivotal these themes are in today’s professional landscape.
The morning continued with an informal networking session during the coffee break, where conversations naturally evolved into potential collaboration opportunities. The energy and enthusiasm were tangible: Alumni from different cohorts found themselves sharing visions and projects, discovering unexpected professional synergies.
The core of the event consisted of themed workshop sessions, where participants explored two key macro-topics of this historical moment: technological transformation in the world of work and the evolution of industrial scenarios. The diversity of professional backgrounds significantly enriched the discussion, leading to innovative perspectives and original approaches. Three main priorities emerged: the imperative of continuous learning, the need for an ethical approach in implementing new technologies, and the importance of sustainability as a driver of innovation.
During the concluding plenary session, moderated by Professors Grimaldi and Toschi, the various contributions were synthesized and possible future initiatives were outlined. It was particularly interesting to see how the EMTIM Community is evolving into a genuine think tank on innovation, capable of generating concrete ideas and projects.
This EMTIM Reunion 2025 once again showed that a business school’s strength lies not only in the quality of the education it offers, but also in its ability to create and nurture a dynamic, proactive community. The high turnout and the enthusiasm displayed by all attendees are the best proof of the value of these gatherings, which will continue to be essential milestones in the professional growth of EMTIM Alumni.
