Umberto Tossini is the Chief Human Capital Officer of Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. With a solid basic education in key areas of human resource management, he was able to guide the cultural transformation process of the historic car manufacturer, effectively contributing to its complete turnaround. It has in fact promoted a holistic approach to strategy, managing to integrate business aspects with innovation in the field of skills, people's motivation and economic and environmental sustainability; this approach has allowed the company to obtain prestigious awards, starting with the Best Employer of Choice award in 2013, up to confirmation in 2019 for the sixth consecutive year, of the Top Employer certification. Born in Avellino in 1967, he graduated in classical studies and later graduated in law from the Luiss University in Rome. He has held positions of increasing responsibility, first at Fiat Auto, then at Vodafone. In June 2017 he was awarded the title of Commander of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic.
