Antonio Paco Giuliani is Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship at the Liautaud School of Business at the University of Illinois at Chicago since 2011. Prior to arriving at UIC, he held several positions at the University of Bologna and the Smeal College of Business at Pennsylvania State University. He also gained experience in consulting and strategic directive at Bain & Company. His research focuses on the study of training processes and business development, with particular interest in the areas of haute cuisine, creative industries and technology. By virtue of his activities he is also involved in various business projects as advisor and mentor, both in the US and in Italy.
The class aims at providing intellectual and developmental devices to evaluate and implement entrepreneurial ideas and business models. Through the use of a combination of interactive, experiential learning and guest speakers, students will be exposed to a wide spectrum of perspectives and learn techniques to reduce risk in their entrepreneurial development
