The last appointment with the spring cycle of Innovation Talks will host as Keynote Speaker Ernesto Ciorra, Head of Innovation and Sustainability, Enel. The event is organized in collaboration with Philip Morris Italia.
Ernesto Ciorra was born in Rome in 1971 and married with two children. He gained a degree in Business Economics from Milan’s Bocconi University, after which he worked as a partner at consulting firm Busacca & Associati, helping leading telecommunications corporations in many innovative projects, including the launch of the prepaid service.
In 2003 Ciorra founded a consulting firm “Ars et Inventio” focused only on innovation and creativity, which he headed up until September 2014 . He supported the planning of the Chief Innovation Officer function for many leader firms in Italy and abroad, by inventing and launching innovative ideas that have become popular worldwide.
The most important clients he collaborated with are: Enel and Enel Green Power, Telecom Italia, WindInfostrada, Vodafone, Fastweb, Abbvie, Zodiak Group, Poste Italiane, ENI, Gaz de France, Edison, GSE, Angelini Farmaceutica, Unilever, RCS, Sole24Ore, BNP, Ubi Banca, Unicredit, ABI (Italian Banking Association), American Express, Sisal, SAS, Euler Hermes (Allianz Group), EY and many other.
Ernesto Ciorra taught “Innovation Management” at various Italian and Spanish universities and was the scientific coordinator of the Master in “Innovation Management” organised by the Sole24Ore’s Business School. He was also a member of the advisory board of the Master in Innovation Strategy at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, and also the director of the Advanced Innovation Management Programme at the IE Business School in Madrid.
He has been appointed Head of Enel’s “Innovation and Sustainability” Function since September 2014.
