3 April 2019In recent years, the labor market has also faced significant changes. The numerous candidates who are entering the world of work for the first time or who are already working but are looking for new professional challenges, have also had to adapt to the new ‘rules’.
It has changed the way we present ourselves, with personal branding, and the way we network. As in any other moment of transition, the opportunities are unlimited, but we must know how to recognize, manage and exploit them. The Bologna Business School Career Service supports the students of Full Time Masters in developing their potential and their professional growth.
The BBS Career Service aims to provide students with the basic tools, knowledge and skills to design and define a career path in line with the attitudes and preferences of the individual student, through the following seminars:
• CV writing and Cover Letter
• how to create an effective LinkedIn profile
• how to prepare and face a job interview
During the year, each student conducts orientation meetings with a Career Counselor, who helps him to bring out his potential and to identify the right company and sector to get an internship in line with his profile and background.
The primary objective is to put BBS talents in touch with corporate partners, both national and international, through activities on campus that can be developed in various ways: company presentations, career days, interviews on campus, business games.
The BBS Career Service also organizes activities for Community Executive Alumni, such as the Career Development Executive Seminars. A series of seminars that includes topics of great importance for those who want to offer themselves to recruiters effectively: writing the curriculum, the job interview and wage negotiation. Another initiative is Professional Speed Date, organized to put Alumni in contact with professionals from the world of research and selection: short interviews, of 30 minutes each, to discuss on their professional development path and an opportunity to be considered or contacted in the future for selection paths in line with the areas of competence of the Head Hunters involved.
The BBS Career Service also offers a personalized service to Bologna Business School partners, helping companies to identify the right approach to their recruitment needs. Companies have the opportunity to make a corporate presentation on campus, convey an internship/work offer among our students and Alumni and request our CV Books.
