Selection notice for the position of “Head of the Office of the Dean” having a managerial position (“quadro”) at the Fondazione Bologna Business School (hereinafter Fondazione or BBS)
1) Professional Profile
The Fondazione is looking for the Head of the Office of the Dean.
BBS has the objective of growing in the international market of post-graduate and post-experience managerial training, competing with the most distinguished European business schools. In order to achieve this goal, BBS is developing a strategic plan that features its growth in some business areas, in the development of the corporate identity, in the consolidation of fundraising activities, of international alliances and the enhancement of the Community.
We are looking for a person who is motivated to take on the responsibility of this role, said person shall report directly to the Dean, his/her mission being to facilitate the implementation of the strategy, coordinating multiple projects and being the link between the Dean, the School and the reference Stakeholders.
The Head of the office of the Dean will be required to support and collaborate with the Dean for the following activities:

The selected candidate will be recruited with a fixed-term contract and will be classified at a managerial level (quadro) of the CCNL (national collective labour contract) of the Commercio Settore Terziario e Servizi (Trade, Tertiary Sector and Services). The probationary period shall last 6 months.

4) How the selection process works
The Fondazione appoints the head of selection and an assessment group to examine and assess applications.
The selection will take place on the basis of the assessment of the candidate’s professional experiences as per the curriculum vitae presented and one or more interviews, also aimed at understanding the suitability and motivational aspects. Any other additional selection procedure the assessment group should identify will be communicated to the participants.
At the end of the selection, the head of the selection will communicate to the Fondazione the name of the candidate who is more suitable for the profile being sought or a “short list” will be provided, from which the Fondazione will choose, at its sole discretion, the person to appoint to the position.

Incomplete applications, or applications that are not signed or not including the attached ID document or the curriculum vitae shall not be taken into consideration.

6) Result of the selection
The chosen candidate will receive a personal, confidential communication, in the same way the other participants to the selection will be informed about the conclusion of the selection (without having to indicate the name of the chosen candidate). BBS shall be entitled to publish the name of the chosen candidate on its website.
Treatment of personal data
Pursuant to legislative decree no.196/2003, the data provided by the candidates are collected at the Fondazione, for the purposes of management of the comparison procedure and are treated, also after the possible appointment to the position, for the purposes related to the management of the employment relationship itself.
