Italian cuisine is still the most celebrated and widespread all over the world.  Every year the number of restaurants popping up around the globe inspired by the Italian food and wine culture is significantly increasing. However, new restaurants concepts many times lack in authenticity and the entrepreneurs miss the most relevant business basics expressly related to the food industry.

“Growing your Italian restaurant” is tailored for people who want to combine an intensive hands-on program with a leisure experience and the opportunity of living Bologna, the City of Food and its surroundings.

The ability to engage customers in a unique experience combining food, environment, people and emotions in a sustainable business is the key managerial competence that this program aims to offer.

STRUCTURE

7 days intensive program to convey the major competences on how to open and run a high quality restaurant.  Academic lectures at Bologna Business School will be combined with in company visits, extended wine & food experiences and leader’s corners to see first-hand the current Italian gastronomy excellence.

In addition, the program offers 7 days equivalent of distance learning and the analysis of your own business before and after the classroom.

Each participant will have 3 guided sessions on “Build your own business plan” to help future entrepreneurs to structure their business plan with BBS faculty.

Throughout the program participants will have the chance to meet the executive chefs and the managers of some of the best Italian restaurants.
