Inspired by Samantha Cristoforetti and the crew of the FUTURA Mission.
9 October 2015Samantha Cristoforetti, astronaut of the European Space Agency (ESA) and protagonist of the FUTURA Mission provided by the Italian Space Agency (ASI) described the six-month stay on the International Space Station together with the whole crew: Anton Shkaplerov (RSA) and Tierry Virts (NASA).
The tour is an informational campaign to raise awareness about the Italian commitment on the International Space Station where Samantha Cristoforetti lived for nearly 200 days.
During the meeting the astronauts will speak about the key pillars of the Futura Mission, the purpose of human space flights and the importance of the space to Italy and to Europe.

The program includes pubblic educational events dedicated to students, institutional meetings and conferences where the astronauts talk about their experiences, life and scientific activities on the International Space Station.
