Live-streaming of the first edition of the Sustainability Report Award.

Corriere della Sera, in collaboration with Bologna Business School, organize the first edition of the Sustainability Report Award for companies in the Energy, Food, and Fashion sectors, which have presented their Sustainability Report for the year 2020.

“The editorial initiative arises from the will of Corriere della Sera, in collaboration with Bologna Business School, to enhance the companies that have best embraced the opportunity offered by this document to tell in a transparent and complete way their project and social activities, thus transforming it into a real competitive lever,” explains editor Luciano Fontana.

The analysis of the reports was based on 15 objective parameters defined by professors and researchers from Bologna Business School who, after studying the international literature of reference and involving some experts in two focus groups (with AICCON – Italian Association for the Promotion of the Culture of Cooperation and Non-Profit, ASVIS – Italian Alliance for Sustainable Development, Banca Etica, Forum Finanza Sostenibile, Fondazione Sodalitas, and Impronta Etica), elaborated the reference grid pertaining to the Environmental, Social and Good Governance (ESG) indicators: diversity and equal opportunities; fair pay policies; working conditions; consumer advocacy; land impact; waste management; impact on water resources; management of hazardous pollutants and chemicals; sustainability of materials; energy efficiency; harmful emissions; resource recovery and recycling; deforestation and land use; compliance with anti-corruption regulations; tax governance.

For each report, the completeness of the topics covered, the stated ambitions, and the quality of the narrative was also assessed.
