Enrico Suetta leads the technological and product development of Leonardo’s Space Business Unit, as well as having the associated technological vision.
A graduate in Mechanical Engineering from the Milan Polytechnic, he has extensive experience in the field of space technologies and products, supporting the analysis of current technological trends in the sector.
He draws on his expertise in electro-optical instruments for Earth observation and interplanetary missions, as well as in robotics and equipment for space platforms.
In his previous roles as Program Manager and Head of the Business Area for Space Optical Instruments and Equipment, he managed highly innovative instrumentation development programmes for Leonardo, working primarily with the European Space Agency, the Italian Space Agency, the main European Prime Contractors for space missions, as well as Universities and Research Organisations.
He was a member (2001-2023) of the Organising Committee of ESMATS (European Space Mechanisms And Tribology Symposium).
