Giulio Ranzo has been Chief Executive Officer of Avio S.p.A since October 2015. He is also a member of the boards of Arianespace SA, Europropulsion SA and Regulus SA in France. In 2016, he founded In-Orbit SpA, a special purpose vehicle in which he invested together with 50 Avio managers to acquire 4% of the company’s capital. In 2017, Ranzo led Avio’s listing on the Milan Stock Exchange, STAR segment, with a free float of 70%.
From April 2011 to October 2015, Giulio Ranzo served as Senior Vice President Corporate Strategy of the Avio Group. In 2013, he worked on the sale of the business unit operating in the aeronautical sector to the American group General Electric and, subsequently, between 2014 and 2015, he contributed to the integration phase between the sold activities and GE Aviation.
Previously, from 2007 to 2011, Ranzo was Co-General Manager and CFO of the Italian operations of Cementir Holding, an international group operating in the construction materials industry.
