Maria Luisa Parmigiani has been involved in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at the national and international level since 1997. She is currently Head of Sustainability and Stakeholder Management at Unipol Group and General Manager of Unipolis Foundation. Earlier in her career, Maria Luisa was involved in CSR, developing some Italian CSR best practices before working for Coop and consumer cooperatives, first as National CSR Manager and then as National Director for Social Policies. She was formerly Secretary General of Impronta Etica, the Italian National Partner Organization of CSR Europe, and is now President of OIBR, the Italian Foundation for Corporate Reporting and of CSRManagerNetwork, the Italian association of CSRManagers. She has been a member of numerous working groups and Advisory Boards, nationally and internationally, over the past two decades. She has taught in several universities for both bachelor’s and master’s degree programs, with a focus on CSR and Sustainability issues. Since 2018, she has been the executive director of the Executive Master in Sustainability and Business Innovation at BBS. Maria Luisa is the author of many articles and has edited CSR and Ethics? (Carrocci, 2005), Public Administration intervention to develop CSR: best practices in Italy (Maggioli, 2008), We are all stakeholders (Ed Maggioli, 2010), Common Objective: Public Private Partnership (Ed ambiente, 2014).
