Gustavo Marfia holds a Bachelor in Engineering from the University of Pisa and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of California, Los Angeles. He currently serves as an Associate Professor in Computer Science at the University of Bologna where he leads the Virtual and Augmented Reality Lab (VARLAB).
COURSES
The course will introduce participants to the value of using immersive paradigms in data analytics. It will walk through the principles underlying the design of immersive analytics systems, exhibiting how such type of systems may facilitate collaboration and change the process of data analysis.
