Stefano Gualandris is an entrepreneur active in the mechanical engineering sector, with interests also in aerospace and defence.
His companies, TECHNOSPRINGS ITALIA srl and TSS-Innovationsprojekte GmbH (in Switzerland) produce springs and elastic systems with classic and innovative materials, and specifically for aerospace, space and defence, are leaders in systems based on shape memory alloys. During his tenure at the MISE, he contributed to the MISE-DIFESA and NATO 5 powers programming tables mainly in support of the national defence industry. Currently at the MEF, he always follows aerospace and defence policies as an advisor to the minister, also interfacing with the other ministries concerned.
He is currently involved in the tables relating to Defence, aerospace and space strategic programmes, and in particular the tables relating to Secure Connectivity, the Malindi base and the future Axiom Space commercial space station.
Stefano Gualandris is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Italian Space Agency and is a Lieutenant in the Selected Reserve in the Italian Navy, serving in the C4S-UGSI Department (General Office for Space and Innovation).
