Alberto Floreani is associate professor of Economics of Financial Intermediaries at the Faculty of Sciences, Banking, Finance and Insurance of the Catholic University of Milan, where he holds courses in Accounting and Management in Insurance, Economics of Insurance Companies and Introduction to Risk Management. Also at the Cattolica University he is coordinator of the master’s degree course in Statistical and Actuarial Sciences and is director of the ERiL (Enterprise Risk Lab) research center. He carries out research activities in the field of insurance company management, with particular reference to financial reporting and risk management profiles. He has published several monographs on insurance business management and risk management and, internationally, articles in the Geneva Papers of Risk and Insurance. At BBS he holds the Insurance Management course in the Master in Finance and Fintech. He was a member of the Occupational Pension Stakeholder Group (OPSG) at EIOPA (European supervisory authority on insurance companies and pension funds) and is a member of the Board of Statutory Auditors of CNP Unicredit Vita, CNP Vita Assicurazioni and CNP Vita Assicura and of Reale Group Actuariat and Finance Commission. He carries out consultancy and professional training activities in the insurance sector.
