With over 30 years of experience in the world of logistics, supply chain and operations at a global and international level, Pier Luigi Cavicchi has brought excellent results of improvement in terms of organization, service improvement, cost reduction, as well as the development of distribution networks in complex contexts. In particular, the experiences took place in the De’Longhi Group and in the COOP Group, dedicating himself to the global supply chain, working on the creation of sales distribution channels in the context of international development, e-commerce, logistics, management of international operations, management of the planning of Italian and foreign factories.
Pier Luigi has been visiting professor of supply chain at the University of Verona and founding member of the supply chain master at the same University, as well as speaker and contributor to several national and international seminars and conferences and universities. In BBS he collaborates in the EMSCO course dealing in particular with demand planning and digital supply chain.
He is currently focusing and paying attention to the application of new technologies to support the supply chain such as artificial intelligence, data analytics, machine learning applied to the continuous improvement of operational processes and blockchain applied to the supply chain and collaborates with several companies in various industrial sectors as a consultant in the supply chain and operations within his consulting company Bestever Supplychain.
