Catarina Sismeiro is Managing Director of Annalect Italy, a unit of Omnicom Media Group, and holds a PhD in Quantitative Marketing from University of California, Los Angeles. Catarina has over 20 years of experience in statistical methods, advanced analytics and data management, as a professor, consultant, and industry leader. Award-winning scholar, she publishes in top-tier marketing and management journals and conferences, teaches highly rated courses at the MBA and PhD levels, advises and mentors students and research staff. Catarina’s previous academic positions include Imperial College London and University of Southern California, among others. Catarina is a technology enthusiast with a deep understanding of AI applications and technological solutions. Her work spans from data collection to insights generation and dissemination, including a strong track record of successfully supporting large brands, including FMCG, automotive and pharma in their digital transformation journey towards innovative approaches to consumer and business insights.
