Alberto Calugi, who graduated in Economics and Commerce from the University of Parma in 1992, began his career as trade finance manager at one of the world’s most important companies in the field of mechanical plant engineering. After further experience in a company in the food sector, as trade manager, he opened Studio Alberto Calugi in 1998, specialising in the internationalisation of companies.
His professional activity is based on the development of international marketing through a blend of innovative methodologies such as design thinking and traditional marketing tools.
Practicioner for the main Italian Business Schools and guest speaker in events and conferences related to business internationalisation and trade finance, he is since 2015 Visiting Professor of Strategic Marketing at the Mita of the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Buenos Aires. Since 2023 he has been a lecturer at the University of Parma in the course of Economic Evaluation of Projects at the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture.
He has been at Bologna Business School since 2016, designing and following the Project Work of the Made in Italy, Food & Wine, Asian Market, and Italian Premium Brands tracks.
