Giuseppe Acierno, born in 1968, married father of three, graduated in Law and specialised in international relations, has held numerous public offices and management positions in important Italian companies. His main sphere of action is the aerospace sector, where he is now President of the Distretto Tecnologico Aerospaziale DTA S.c.ar.l. President of the Apulian aerospace production district, a member of the governing body Fondazione ITS Aerospazio Puglia, a member of the governing body Cluster Tecnologico Nazionale dell’Aerospazio (National Aerospace Technology Cluster), of which he was a founder, a former adjunct professor at the doctoral school of the Politecnico di Bari, advisor to aerospace companies, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Poland. Currently, his main activities include that of sole investment manager on the Grottaglie Airport test bed, head of ESA BIC Brindisi, responsible for numerous research and development projects.
Previously, he was sole director of the Apulian airports network, Aeroporti di Puglia SPA, board member of ENAV spa, also serving as Chairman of the Sustainability Committee and Chairman of the Remuneration and Appointments Committee.
