Hui Zheng, Senior Associate of the Allen&Overy LLP, meets the Community of BBS to talk about the different practices in private M&A in the UK and the US.
Allen & Overy is widely considered to be one of the world’s elite law firms, advising national and multinational corporations, financial institutions, and governments. Since its founding in 1930, Allen & Overy has grown to become one of the largest law firms in the world, both by number of lawyers and revenue.
Mr. Zheng Hui is currently a senior associate of Allen & Overy LLP based in the London headquarters. He is also the Coordinator of the China Group.
He is a native Chinese speaker and is qualified both in England & Wales and the PRC. With a wide range of experience in law in both Asia and the UK, he has worked at Allen & Overy LLP in Europe for the past nine years, specialising in international M&A and finance transactions.
Hui received his LLB from Nanjing University and LLM from University of Oxford. He is currently a guest lecturer in Corporate Finance Lawat the School of Law, Queen Mary University of London.
During the Lecture, Mr. Zheng will identify key differences in market practices, based on a review of the terms of private M&A deals with UK and U.S. based targets, which A&O advised on over previous years.
