Sailing Experience was founded in 2013 to promote the Community of the Executive Alumni . Thanks to continuous efforts of a group of executive MBA participants, the initiative reaches its third edition.
The races
Races will be held on May 2 and 3, between Punta Ala (GR) and Isola d’ Elba. The boats are high performing but very easy to sail; the management of the regatta and the awards will be organized by the Yacht Club Punta Ala.
The trophy
The trophy take its name after a former participant, Stefano de Maria whom we remember for his passion for the sea and commitment to the community.
The safety
On each boat will be a skipper whom will manage the critical phases of the regattas and will provide technical advice and other tips. The trophy is subject to the rules highlighted by the Notice of Race and in line with the ones of the Italian Sailing Federation (FIV). Before the crews release at sea there will be a briefing at the Yacht Club.
The weekend
This year we will spend the night at the exclusive structure of Gallia Palace Hotel, in the nature of Maremma just a few minutes from the marina of Punta Ala, with a swimming pool, Beauty & Gym and private beach. For the coordinators are provided for alternative activities.
By booking before April 10, 2015 you can take advantage of our agreement with the Hotel which includes: € 98 for a double room, € 125 for triple, quadruple € 148 per room, breakfast always included.

Registrations are open until April 17. The fee is 350 Euro (to cover the organizational expenses of the race) and includes: participation in the regattas, lunch on Saturday and Sunday, access to the Yacht Club during the two days. For accompanying adults (non sailors) we ask a contribution of 40 Euro which includes: access to the Yacht Club during the two days of racing, possible accompaniment by sea on the Isola d’Elba, or alternatively, transport to some of the main places of interest in the area and Sunday lunch at the Yacht Club.
Insurance coverage of racers will be guaranteed by the membership at the Italian Sailing Federation (FIV), the cost of which is included.
