Corporate Governance
23 November 2015This course deals with the concept of corporate governance, focusing on different types of properties, the composition of the board, the remuneration of executives and how to determine the value of a firm. The course will introduce participants to concepts such as international models of corporate governance, the effects of the separation of ownership and control, the Enron scandal in the United States, the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, the action plan for financial services and the main EU directives.
