Bologna Business School has achieved a position of international excellence as for Business Administration courses and is among the world’s top schools in terms of teaching quality.
Bologna Business School has been included for the first time in the QS World University Rankings of the best courses in the world, confirming its high academic standards, both nationally and internationally. With the Hybrid MBA program, focused on business management issues and offered in part-time and hybrid mode – delivered online and with face-to-face sessions at the beginning and end of the master’s program – the Bologna-based business school ranks second in Italy and 33rd globally.
Of particular note are the results obtained by BBS in the categories ‘Faculty & Teaching’, concerning teaching standards and the quality of course teaching, and ‘Class experience’, concerning the interactivity of teaching and the flexibility of programs, both of which placed the School significantly above the global average. In particular, the relationship between faculty and participants, the rate of course completion and the reputation of the faculty earned the School a prestigious second place globally in the Faculty & Teaching area, the most relevant for the final ranking.
“We are proud of the results the School has been recognized for by QS World University Rankings, particularly because the recognition of the teaching standards of our Hybrid MBA certifies our commitment to offer, even in the new hybrid and digital formats, the quality and engagement ability that characterize all BBS educational programs,” said Massimo Bergami, Dean of Bologna Business School. “The composition of the faculty, half of which is made up of academics and the other 50% of managers, entrepreneurs, and consultants, is a distinctive element that promotes learning paths that are suited to our times”.
The inclusion in the QS ranking follows another important result recently achieved by the Bologna-based business school, the EQUIS accreditation, which has been obtained by just 1% of business schools worldwide. The European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS) accreditation verifies the achievement of high standards that concern key ESG criteria such as faculty composition, student background and experience, sustainability and diversity and inclusion practices, as well as each school’s positioning and growth strategy.
