BBS’ farewell to Nicola Zattoni Alumnus of the Executive Master in Entrepreneurship VII
8 June 2021“Nicola: entrepreneur, student, a man with an innate curiosity, an overflowing good humor and an extraordinary desire to live. This is what Nicola conveyed to us when he was alive, and it is what we will keep in our heart. Rest in peace”.
The words of the Scientific Director of the Executive Master in Entrepreneurship VII, Riccardo Fini, accompany the memory of a very special Alumnus, who passed away at the age of 37 due to a particularly aggressive disease. Goodbye to him and the sincerest condolences to his family on behalf of the Community of Bologna Business School.
Nicola, originally from Forlì, and residing in Riccione, the place where he had launched and managed his startup “Innovazione s.r.l.”, leaves behind the memory of a persona so full of life and cheerfulness that it is difficult to think he has left us so soon.
Fellow Master’s students also received the news with immense sadness and join the School’s farewell with their remembrance:
“When I first met Nicola, I thought about how knowledgeable he was, and how many ideas and projects he had. I have always appreciated his ability to put everyone at ease and his enthusiasm that set him apart from others, the creativity and irony that he was able to bring to whatever he did. How much he loved his Riccione and his Labradors. I think we should feel lucky to have had the chance to meet him as a person, as a friend and as an entrepreneur.
“From day one of the Master’s we enjoyed a good relationship and had started a friendship. We didn’t get to spend a lot of time together, but I always felt he was a very nice and friendly person who offered me help and friendship.”
Courageous and caring for others until the very end, Nicola had been ill with ALS for about a year but had never stopped devoting himself to the things he loved, including his business. He said goodbye to his dearest friends during one last big party, leaving a message of joy and hope.
