Art City. A week of Contemporary Art in Bologna
20 January 2020Until January 26 Bologna hosts the eighth edition of Art City, a rich program of events dedicated to art and creativity.
A unique opportunity for our students and our Faculty to immerse themselves in the contemporary art scene that dialogues with different spaces: museums, libraries, public and private buildings.
Guided by the thread of creativity, you can discover both contemporary artistic productions and the many important public and private spaces of Bologna.
Art City Bologna is coordinated by MAMbo – Istituzione Bologna Musei and includes 1 special project, 22 main projects, and over 100 reported projects. Almost all the events are free.
On Saturday 25 January the Art City Night will be held with the extraordinary opening until midnight of many seats of the Art City circuit and of numerous galleries, independent exhibition spaces and shops.
The suggestion for those who want to have a direct and immersive experience in the various forms of contemporary creativity is to start from the main projects, checking the dates of the openings, and define their visit path according to the contents of the various proposals illustrated in this link.
