AIDP AWARD FOR BAR-RAISERS – Bologna Business School

The HR and Organization BBS Professional Master is a higher education program aimed to acquire the best practices in human resource management. The course is designed for recent graduates and young professionals who want to enhance their knowledge in this field and acquire the necessary skills to manage corporate HR effectively. The program involves a multidisciplinary approach, integrating theoretical aspects and practical experience. Taught in English and one of the few HR Masters in the world to have received EFMD accreditation it includes interactive lectures, project work, internships, meetings with corporate executives and other non-academic learning systems able to provide its participants with practical and concrete knowledge that immediately spendable.

Recruitment and selection strategies, performance evaluation techniques, compensation and benefits, change and diversity management, and staff training, are some of the topics covered by the excellent faculty of Bologna Business School with the aim of making this Master’s program a springboard for one’s career.

This is the context for the AIDP Bar Raiser Award: a competition based on the development of a project that aims to offer students of the BBS HR and Organization Professional Master the opportunity to integrate and consolidate the knowledge acquired during the classes and to build specific skills in HR, the cornerstone of a successful career as an HR manager.

Participating companies engage with teams of students at work on a real human resources challenge, with the goal of coming up with a creative solution.

The Bar Raiser Award, sponsored by AIDP (Italian Association for Personnel Management) and jointly organized with BBS, runs between March and May, with the awards event in June, and is the concluding experience for the HR and Organization Master. It is a program to support young talent, providing them with an opportunity for professional growth and networking with industry leaders.

It is the climax of an exciting study path and a unique opportunity to enter, the primary goal of the HR and Organization Professional Master, directly into the business world.
