Can you tell us how you decided to pursue the evening MBA at Bologna Business School and how this decision has influenced your career?
“The idea of attending the MBA Evening at Bologna Business School was born from the desire to fully express my professional potential. While working in an SME, I had shown excellent insights, but I lacked the tools to measure the impact of my innovations and to realize them. I also wanted an internationally recognized degree that would open new opportunities in the job market. The MBA at Bologna Business School provided me with these skills and represents a security for my career, especially for those like me who cannot rely on family financial support. Today, thanks to this investment, I feel more confident and prepared to face the challenges of the working world and to make a difference in every project.”
What specific skills acquired during the master do you find most useful in your current role?
“During the MBA, I acquired skills that have proven fundamental in my current role. The communication skills developed help me daily to present ideas and results clearly and persuasively, both to colleagues and clients. Working for a German biomedical company with the aim of developing business in Italy, I quickly identified the business line to focus on and the priority moves to implement. The problem-solving skills acquired have allowed me to close each year with a significant double-digit revenue increase and to gain the trust of my superiors.”
What aspects did you appreciate the most during your journey at BBS?
“At Bologna Business School, I was fortunate to meet prominent figures such as Dean Max Bergami, Andrea Pontremoli, and Alec Ross, and to listen to speeches by top managers from companies like Goldman Sachs and Ferrari. This full immersion provided me with many stimuli and inspirations, pushing me to read biographies of successful people, develop a passion for artificial intelligence, and create my own startup, applying what I learned during my time at BBS.”
