The Open Program in SustainTech, designed by Bologna Business School in collaboration with Tecno Group, offers a high-level educational experience tailored for senior managers leading the Twin Transition: the sustainable and digital transformation. The program combines robust theoretical training with hands-on learning, enriched by access to a global network of thought leaders, innovators, and policymakers.

The dual transformation poses a critical challenge for companies worldwide, requiring them to urgently plan and implement the first steps toward an integrated management of change processes. Through an advanced learning approach—including in-depth theoretical insights, case studies, and innovative tools—the program guides participants through the various dimensions of transformation, providing a comprehensive understanding of organizational dynamics.

This program is designed to equip senior managers with the tools needed to navigate the intersection of digital innovation and environmental responsibility. In a context where sustainable practices are no longer optional, the Executive Program delivers cutting-edge insights into technologies, frameworks, and sustainable business models—empowering leaders to transform their organizations into pioneers of the Dual Transition.

How the Open Program Works

By combining Bologna Business School’s renowned expertise in Sustainable Management and corporate leadership with Gruppo Tecno’s innovative insights into sustainable digital technologies, the program reinforces the school’s commitment to innovation and sustainability. This approach integrates rigorous academic content with practical applications, leveraging a well-established network of industry leaders, policymakers, and researchers.

Structure

The program is divided into 3 on-campus days and 10 online days.

The on-campus sessions will be available both in person and online, combining the flexibility of remote participation with the opportunity to meet other participants and faculty members in person. Online classes will take place on Fridays and Saturdays.

FEES

The enrollment fee for the course is:

  • €4,000 (+ VAT) for registrations from companies and institutions

  • €3,200 (+ VAT) for individual registrations

The fee includes attendance to the program, all study materials available through the online platform, and access to Bologna Business School services, which include: a personal Alma Wi-Fi account and use of study areas.

Discounts are available:

  • for early registrations;

  • for companies in the Business Network;

  • for Alma/BBS and Profingest Alumni;

  • for groups of at least 3 participants.

Alumni and companies can check the availability of training vouchers through their relevant Interprofessional Fund, including:

APPLICATION PROCESS

To enroll, it is necessary to request the registration form by sending an email to openprograms@bbs.unibo.it.

FAQs

Yes, there is a certificate upon successful completion of all courses, the final examination and 70% attendance. The certificate will attest to successful completion of the courses and will award 60 university credits (CFU).

The documents used in the classroom and any further reading or exercises will be uploaded to our platform, whose credentials will be delivered in the classroom.

Should a group of colleagues wish to participate in the program, it is possible to contact the Program Manager to evaluate an ad hoc participation price.

Our short courses do not require a specific course of study. It is important to have a few years of work experience behind you that can help you, inside the classroom, by bringing real cases dealt with and solutions adopted during your work.
