Bologna Business School and United Ventures: an alliance to turn innovation into enterprise

20 June 2025

Bologna Business School and United Ventures have launched a strategic collaboration to foster dialogue between education, research and venture capital. The goal is to create an environment where innovation can evolve from an idea to a concrete project, and from a project to a business.

The partnership aims to build a bridge between those who generate knowledge and those who invest in its value. It offers an opportunity for students, entrepreneurs and investors to engage, collaborate and contribute to the growth of an innovative ecosystem.

The first meeting: artificial intelligence as a starting point

The first occasion for dialogue took place at Villa Guastavillani with an event dedicated to artificial intelligence. Following the introduction by Dean Max Bergami and the opening remarks byMassimiliano Magrini, Co-Founder & Managing Partner at United Ventures, the focus shifted to an open exchange among key players in innovation.

Startup founders, industry experts, faculty members and investors shared insights and experiences, adopting a concrete, interdisciplinary approach to the challenges and opportunities of technological change.

An ecosystem connecting skills and capital

The event marked a first step toward a productive exchange between academic knowledge, entrepreneurial initiative and investment. A network strengthened by direct interaction and the development of meaningful relationships.

Through this alliance, Bologna Business School and United Ventures aim to support the growth of an ecosystem where innovation can access resources, vision and tools to generate positive impact on both the local area and the broader economic system.
