25 years of excellence to celebrate together

19 July 2023

Bologna Business School’s General Management Program has reached an important milestone: its 25th edition. To celebrate this anniversary, the School organized a grand reunion for alumni from all editions, held last July 5, 2023, at BBS’s historic headquarters, the beautiful Villa Guastavillani. The event featured guests from different industries, who gave lectures sharing insights and inspirations for the future with an attentive and enthusiastic audience.

The evening kicked off with a warm welcome and greetings from Franco Valentini, Chief Operating Officer of BBS, and Paolo Di Marco, Executive Director of the Program.  This was followed by one of the most engaging moments of the event: the business talk moderated by Paolo Di Marco and Daniele Rimini, Management Consultant and lecturer at BBS. The discussion featured Mirella Castellani, Commercial Director of SGB Group, Alberto Albrigi, CEO of 5 Stelle, and Massimo Ferrari, CEO of Alfa Solutions: industry leaders who facilitated an engaging and stimulating conversation.

After the business talks, Franco Visani, Associate Dean for Open Programs, presented the BBS Open Program Area, outlining its mission and initiatives. “Bologna Business School is not only an institution aimed at the development of managerial skills,” Professor Visani pointed out, “but also a living network, a convivium that evolves over time, a true community in which people and ideas are compared, enriched, and multiplied.”

The event culminated with a networking moment reception, allowing participants to make new connections and reconnect with people they met.

The evening was not only a celebration of the Program’s 25 years of operation but also, more importantly, a way to highlight the achievements of the alumni and the impact they have had in different sectors. Because Bologna Business School, in addition to being a School, is also and above all, a Community of people that grows over time, always creating new opportunities.

“Over the years, the General Management Program has created real and concrete bonds with the people we have had the opportunity to get to know,” explained Paolo Di Marco, “but more of all, it has strengthened them with the managers and companies that most care about the riches we exchange every day in BBS, managerial knowledge and quality of relationships.”
