With over two decades of experience in the pharmaceutical research sector, I am currently serving as the Project Management & Processes Department Head at Chiesi Farmaceutici. In this role, I lead a global team of Project Managers, overseeing the entire drug development project portfolio—from discovery through the full lifecycle—across three therapeutic areas.

Throughout my career, I have held various roles in the pharmaceutical industry, ranging from Quality Assurance to Quality Control, before dedicating over a decade to Project Management. I have successfully led several high-priority strategic projects, contributing to achieving key corporate objectives.

I am a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) since 2013, a Scrum Master I, and a certified facilitator of the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® methodology. I also hold a Green Project Management certification, reflecting my commitment to sustainable project practices.

In addition to my operational responsibilities, I represent the R&D function in the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) initiatives, ensuring alignment between innovation and sustainability goals. I have also participated as a speaker at various national and international conferences focused on project management, sharing insights and best practices with the broader professional community.

I am an active member and volunteer at the PMI Northern Italy Chapter and a passionate advocate for diversity in STEM. I mentor young women both in schools and within my company to support their growth in scientific and technical careers.

My academic background includes a degree in Chemistry, an Executive Master in Project Management from LUISS University of Rome.
