 AI for sustainable development: challenges and open research directions: the second meeting of the Innovation Talk Fall Edition 2020 will host Michela Milano, Director of the ALMA-AI Interdepartmental Center of Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence, at the University of Bologna.

The ALMA-AI Interdepartmental Center of Human Centered Artificial Intelligence is a research group within the Department of Computer Science – Informatics and Engineering  at the University of Bologna. Their main research activities are related with the fied of Artificial Intelligence. They have a strong background in Computational Logic and Prolog, Computational Sustainability, Embedded System Design, Multi Agent Systems, etc.

Michela Milano is full professor at the Department Computer Science and Engineering of the University of Bologna. She received her Ph.D. in Computer Science in 1998 with a thesis on Constraint Programming. Her research interests cover the area of hybrid optimization, a multi-disciplinary field at the cross-road of computer science and applied mathematics, optimization and machine learning and computational sustainability.

With Michela Milano we will talk about Artificial Intelligence and sustainability and about how technology helps us to take care of our planet.
