Emilia Sostenibile 2025: the second edition of the award for virtuous companies kicks off
8 September 2025After the success of the first edition, the Emilia Sostenibile Award returns. Promoted by UCID Bologna with the support of Confindustria Emilia Area Centro, Confcooperative Terre D’Emilia, and Bologna Business School, the initiative aims to highlight the most innovative and virtuous projects in the field of integral sustainability.
The award is divided into two categories – Product (ESG) and Process (ESG) – and seeks to spread awareness in the Emilia business community of the “convenience” of sustainability, understood as a value for the common good as well as for business competitiveness.
Participating companies may submit projects focused on the environmental, social, and/or governance pillar. Scientific evaluation will be carried out by NeXt Nuova Economia per Tutti APS ETS, while communication is managed by Weevo Srl Società Benefit.
Applications are open until September 30, 2025, and only the first 50 eligible projects submitted with complete documentation will be accepted, according to the official call guidelines.
The closing ceremony, scheduled for October 30, 2025, will award two companies that stand out for the impact and commitment of their initiatives, recognizing the importance of sustainability paths that integrate economic, social, and environmental values.
This second edition of the Award marks another step in building a shared culture of sustainability in Emilia-Romagna, a region that continues to distinguish itself for innovation and corporate social responsibility.
