The 14th edition of the International Week for the Executive MBA at Bologna Business School has come to an end. This event offered participants a unique opportunity to combine academic learning with practical insights.

The week kicked off with a city tour of Bologna providing an opportunity to break the ice and start building connections. On Monday, the first lecture was delivered by Luca Gatti from Boston Consulting Group, focusing on business model innovation and strategy. In the afternoon, participants visited the Mercato Coperto in Ravenna, where they attended a speech by Federico Fabbri from Molino Spadoni.

The week continued with other high-level lectures, including a session with Riccardo Silvi from the University of Bologna on business modeling frameworks, followed by a company visit and hackathon at Gruppo Montenegro. Wednesday focused on marketing and sales of Made in Italy with Fabio Ancarani, and was followed by another hackathon at Gruppo Focaccia.

On Thursday, participants visited Tetra Pak, combining company visits with hands-on activities. The week concluded with a lecture by Tobias Flinspach from the Hilti Family Foundation on business transformation, followed by the certificate awarding ceremony.

The International Week is organized in collaboration with the EMBA Consortium for Global Business Innovation, an international network of business schools that includes Bologna Business School. Its mission is to facilitate the creation of global, interactive experiences for EMBA participants, allowing them to tackle international challenges and deepen their understanding of global economic dynamics.
