The MBA Part-time weekend of BBS at the top of the ranking of the best in the world

7 October 2020

Eduniversal Best Masters Ranking published the ranking of the best Part-time MBA, worldwide, and the MBA Part-time weekend, devised for professionals, ranks twelfth. A great achievement for one of the long-established programs of BBS, now in its 23rd edition, the first among other Italian programs of the same category.

How can you choose the best Masters on the global market? One of the most practiced methods is an online research, where you can find reliable platforms constantly proposing updated rankings of the best products available, divided by categories.

Eduniversal Best Masters Ranking is the only platform that assesses individual masters all over the world, in 50 different sectors. Each year over 20,000 postgraduate programs are considered with a dedicated survey, involving representatives of the world’s best academic institutions, more than 5,000 international recruiters and 100,000 among students and alumni of the programs concerned.

In this context of absolute excellence, the twelfth place attained by the MBA Part-time weekend is a very important achievement, which rewards the constant commitment of the school in developing an “intense and inspiring course, where academic knowledge and managerial experience blend together” as the Master’s Directors, Mariachiara Colucci and Andrea Cinti Luciani, explain, also adding:

“The BBS Part-time Weekend MBA, with ASFOR accreditation, is intended for managers and professionals wishing to expand and strengthen their background of skills in order to face increasing management responsibilities. It is to fill this gap, a crucial aspect in the evolution of the career paths of young managers, that we have designed this 16-month program”.

A program that is particularly appreciated, as shown by the growth in the last three years, which has seen the number of participants double, and which includes among its strengths a multidisciplinary teaching staff, consisting of faculty and business managers, and two innovative modules: Digital Transformation and Sustainability.

“The courses we offer are those, so to speak, traditional, of an MBA, updated with the latest tools of management practice, provided jointly by university professors and professionals experienced in the individual subjects. The goal is to start from the basics of each subject, basing them on theories and concepts consolidated in the literature, to apply them immediately to real cases and contexts. The blended teaching formula – one weekend a month in attendance and ongoing support for distance learning – is designed to ensure that our students can attend the MBA without interrupting or penalizing their professional activity and, as we like to highlight, it makes them learn to interpret the dynamics of work through new “lenses”.

Hence, a successful formula, constantly evolving, able to contribute to train professionals in the contemporary economic and social scene, also thanks to BBS ability to offer all the necessary tools for a high-level teaching activity. Last Friday the new “Temporary Campus” set up at Bologna Fiere was officially opened, with the first intake of the 2020/2021 academic year, with face-to-face lectures, still supported by technologies for the online part, for those participants who cannot go in person to the campus.
